Help answer the question about paid survey
Can anyone tell me of a worldwide paid survey site that really pays?Im in South Africa and Im interested in doing surveys online to make money from home. I would really like to know about the free paidsurvey sites as well as the (pay to join)survey sites that are global,International and pay by cheque. Any help would really be appreciated and Thank You in advance. Im really looking forward to hearing from those people who are currently involved in this and earning an income.
There are several survey sites that are legit, your not going to get rich doing them though. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several. The one I have had the most luck with is Lightspeed. They do not pay you cash you get points which can be converted into cash via pay pal. However, they send me the most surveys. And already twice now I have been asked to participate in a more extensive survey in which I was sent a palm pilot in the mail and asked to record certain daily activities. The ones I have completed offered a $50 incentive and that was in the form of a check in addition to the points I received for completing the initial survey. I have also done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. I did a lot of research before joining these. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don't respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota. I am pleased with these sites and looking to join some new ones.

The majority are too good to be true. Most of these sites want your personal information and e-mail addresses. Why you might ask..so they can sell them to spammers wanting legitimate addresses and info.

However the pay from these sites only average around $1. a month and you have to build-up $50. before cashing out.

Hi Mirage, I've been accumulating data for an online research paper and although I haven't used any of the sites I've checked out, what I can tell is if you sign up to do any surveys pick only the ones that pay you with PayPal because PayPal will not stand for any scam it detects. All the other scamers will try to pay you by check or points or a chance at a sweepstake. Also a handy tool I discovered if you do these surveys is Roboform.com you can download the free version and it will fill out your surveys lighting fast and double or triple your pay and also keep tract of your passwords etc. I hope this helps, I'm still working on my project and if you find a great site drop me a line.
I do a paid survey site called Survey Spot. They'll send you one or two surveys a day, each one worth different amounts, however much the company is willing to pay for your opinion. I've earned as little as $1-$10 doing surveys. It's pretty cool. Don't try to make it your day job though: you do have to qualify for the survey before you can get paid for it, and sometimes it's hard to tell what type of consumer the survey wants, especially the high dollar surveys. Yes it does irriate me..but I accept the fact the every body is entitled to their opinion and also most of these responders are referring to the sites that offer points or prizes or cost to join, and some of them are referring to "focus" groups sites which usually you have to pay to join (yes there are legit "focus groups", I belong to one)..as for specific question, personally I check out the forum of the sites that I belong too for answers (if you want to know how a Corvette rides, you ask a owner of a Corvette not a toyota owner)..anyway great question and a valid point!
