Business Guide to Getting Started
Category: Getting Started Guide | Jun 05, 2009 |

Start up businesses are growing faster everyday. Many individuals have chosen to start their own business venture for a variety of reasons. Having your own business offers many the freedom and extra free time during the day. You have the opportunity to set your own schedule, as well as spending more time with your family. Many also start their own business to supplement their current income.
The first step in choosing a start up business is to select something that you have a lot of desire for. Desire is one of the key ingredients to any successful business. Whether you choose to sell a product or provide a service, you should select something that you are knowledgeable about as well as have a passion for. Without these basic qualities, your new business venture will become similar to your 9 to 5 job. Eventually you will lose your motivation and your business will suffer. One of the best ways to get started in brainstorming a new business is to begin with a hobby you enjoy. Many people have successfully created a profitable business doing the thing they love to do everyday.
Fulfilling the needs and demands of many people are some of the best products or services that you can sell. The best startup business ideas are the commodities that will simplify life for many. There are a number of similar products on the market that perform the same function. If you are going to sell this type of product then be sure to do something that will make it unique and give you a competitive edge over the competition. You also want to think of a long-term income flow. You want to be able to generate an income for you and your family for years to come.
It is vitally important to know your market and the consumers you will be targeting. Stepping into the consumer’s shoes is one of the best ways to determine how they will perceive your product or service. This is very important in understanding what your particular service can offer them, and if it is worth the price. You need to determine if there is a large demand for what you plan to market, if you are to attain any profits.
So now that you have completed the market research, you will need to start gathering information and to narrow down your startup business into specific components. Deciding on a price structure that you will be charging is important to determine if you will make a profit, and to find out if it is something that others are willing to pay. Next you will want to determine the location from which you will be selling your product or service. Study your targeted area to see if there are customers who might be interested in your product. Selling gloves and a winter coat would not be very profitable if you are selling them in California. Finally, try to become more innovative with your product and make it even more outstanding then your initial idea.
Without a doubt there is a lot of work up front with any new business. The key is to keep your eye on the prize, the chance to fulfill your life long dreams of independence. With the proper business plan and research, you can produce a very profitable business venture for years to come. When you finally establish a strong customer base, your business will run itself. You may even be able to work from within your own home. At this point you can sit back and enjoy the profits.

Honestly, you really need to go to http://www.calgold.ca.gov and obtain a small business license. It will only cost you about $12 or a little more. I live in the Phoenix, AZ area and it will only cost me $12 to get my business license. To get your Federal Tax Identification Number it is free and will take you about 5 – 10 min to get at http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=102767,00.html It's safer to have your business licenses and get bonded and insured to cover yourself in case anything should ever happen. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me and I will try to help you as much as possible.
Get a domain first – a name you pay annually or bi-annually for that. Then web space. Design your website first of course, maybe with FrontPage or Dreamweaver. The money comes from advertising. Adsense is good – won't pay much but gets the google spiderbot on your site! Check out Yahoo small business web space and their web builder is good. It's not the cheapest though. Look at my site for a few ideas if you're really new to this stuff. Good luck – email me for more ideas. The address is on the website! !0 points pls!
Where is chennai? Most network marketing business's have the license on hand for you. I don't know any that you'd have to go out and obtain the license on your own. If you partner up with a company that already exists and has a good product and is in high in demand, I suggest going this route instead of trying to start one on your own. There's more leg work in that route. I can point you out to a lot of good business's to get involved in. Check them out and when you find one that you like the best, all these questions should be answered by them. It's all in the I.R agreement forms.
I suggest you start a home based business that like I said is high in demand and something you'd enjoy being a part of.
Having a home based business is great! You need to find something that you beleive in and sale a product that everyone needs! The income opportunity is incredible, especially in network marketing. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1.
We got involved in the telecommunications industry.
With a world wide company that's over 15 years old. We've been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satallite tv, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses or has one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're most likely already using, if not you can offer them the service, and everytime they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry. Non profit organizations have been getting involved as a major funding source for their programs.
If you'd like more information feel free to email me and I'll be happy to pass it along to you.
I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.
